An 18-year-old living away from her parents at university.
She grew up with both parents as university teachers, but Fiona was more interested in the arts - particularly music - than academic pursuits.
Upon seeing her parents again for the first time in a while she becomes involved in an accident, imprisoned in an unfamiliar old castle.
Her father is strongly connected to an alchemist from the middle ages, and though she does not know it her body hides a mysterious power - "Azoth" - within.
The residents of the castle are attracted to Fiona's Azoth, chasing after her in an attempt to extract it via some kind of alchemical method.
By nature, her body is not strong, and she doesn't like to exercise. She does, however, have a strong mind, and is not introverted. She speaks little, but is a quick-thinker and does not lack in wit. She represses any extreme displays of emotion, and appears mature, but her from-the-heart smiles have a charm that entrances people.
